Several NFL teams turned down the opportunity to appear on the hit series “Hard Knocks” before HBO finally found an organization willing to allow dozens of camera crews to film every aspect of the team’s 2012 training camp.

That team is the Miami Dolphins.

New Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin announced Tuesday that the team would indeed appear on the show. However, not many football fans are happy with HBO’s choice. While the Dolphins have a new head coach, rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill and the never soft-spoken Reggie Bush, there were certainly better options.

Regardless of whether you want to see the not-very-exciting Miami Dolphins or not, it’s just good to know that one of the best series on television is back.
